Plantec Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (Singapore) was launched in August 2017 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Plantec Inc (Osaka, Japan) following the successful delivery of the first Vertical Combustor incinerator for toxic industrial waste in Tuas, Singapore.
Established as a Singapore-based international business development company, Plantec Asia Pacific aims to promote the Vertical Combustor - a new type of incineration technology invented in Japan - throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
As the issue of cost-effective and sustainable waste management system has become one of the major global challenges in recent years, Plantec Asia Pacific strongly believes that Vertical Combustor is the solution: The new incineration technology has made it possible to efficiently treat different types of waste, such as biohazardous waste and toxic industrial waste, without the use of auxiliary fuel.
It will benefit waste management companies as well as municipalities that are facing performance issues with the conventional types of incinerators.

In 1994, Plantec delivered the first Vertical Combustor with SLA (Super Low Air Ratio) combustion method, which made cost-effective waste incineration possible. Its unwavering performance in treating various types of waste, including the highly infectious medical waste in recent years, has been a proven record of effectiveness in waste to energy.
Plantec has obtained more than 160 patents and utility models and received many awards including Medal of Honor - Yellow Ribbon and Ministry of the Environment award conferred to Mr. Seizo Katsui.
